EYE SOCIETY, the brand operated by SKOLD S.R.L., provides fast and secure delivery for all orders placed through www.eyesociety.ro: sunglasses, eyeglasses, contact lenses and accessories.


I. Coverage area and delivery methods

Deliveries within Romania

  • National delivery by authorised courier across Romania
  • Courier services: FAN Courier, Sameday, DPD or other authorised carriers
  • EasyBox delivery at participating pickup points
  • Showroom collection from EYE SOCIETY AFI Cotroceni

International deliveries

III. Delivery times

Important: Exact delivery times are shown on each product page. The times below are indicative — they apply to in-stock items or as fallback estimates for special orders.

For in-stock items

Order processing: 24 hours from order to courier handover.

Romania:

  • 1-2 business days in Bucharest
  • 2-4 business days across the rest of Romania
  • 1-4 business days via EasyBox

International:

  • 4-10 business days for EU and rest of Europe
  • 5-14 business days for the rest of the world

For special-order or restocking items

  • Eyeglasses with prescription lenses fitted to order: 7-14 business days
  • Custom-order contact lenses: 5-10 business days
  • Items sourced from supplier stock: 10-21 business days
  • Lenses with special treatments: 10-15 business days
  • Items being restocked: as displayed on the product page

Mixed orders

Where an order contains items with different delivery times, the entire order ships at the longest applicable time.

Factors that may affect delivery times

  • Peak periods: Black Friday, Christmas, Easter, 8 March
  • Public holidays and days off
  • Force majeure: extreme weather, courier strikes
  • Additional verification on high-value orders
  • Geographic distance for international deliveries

Collection conditions

  • The order must be paid in full before collection
  • A valid ID is required at pickup
  • You will receive a confirmation email when the items are ready
  • Try-on is available only after payment
  • No order modifications are accepted at the time of pickup

  • National ID card or passport
  • Confirmation email or order number
  • Tax invoice (if printed separately)

VI. Parcel delivery

On receipt of the parcel

  1. Verify the courier's identity and present a valid ID
  2. Inspect the packaging — if visibly damaged, refuse the delivery
  3. Sign for receipt only after verifying the integrity of the parcel
  4. The courier is not authorised to allow opening the parcel before signing

Parcel contents

  • The ordered items in their original packaging
  • Original tax invoice
  • Warranty / conformity certificate
  • Usage instructions (for contact lenses)
  • Included accessories: case, cleaning cloth, etc.
  • Promotional materials (where applicable)

Issues on delivery

  • Damaged parcel: refuse the delivery and contact us immediately
  • Missing or wrong item: contact us within 24 hours
  • Delivery to the wrong address: contact the courier and our team to resolve

Order statuses

  • "Processing" — order being verified / prepared
  • "In production" — for personalised items
  • "Preparing shipment" — items being packaged
  • "Shipped" — parcel handed to the courier
  • "Out for delivery" — parcel is with the courier
  • "Delivered" — parcel delivered and signed for

VIII. Delays and force majeure

Delay policy

  • Automatic notification by email / SMS in case of delay
  • Explanation of the reason and the new estimated timeframe
  • Compensation: 10% discount voucher for unjustified delays
  • Free cancellation if the delay exceeds 7 business days

Force majeure

Includes carrier strikes, extreme weather, natural disasters, accidents, government restrictions (pandemics, quarantines), and major IT system failures.


IX. Special deliveries

For fragile items

  • Additional packaging with protective material
  • "FRAGILE" labels visible on the parcel
  • Mandatory insurance for items above 500 RON
  • Special instructions for the courier

For high-value orders (over 1,000 RON)

  • Mandatory phone confirmation
  • Delivery only with signature and ID
  • Full insurance included
  • Option to schedule delivery within a time slot

Express delivery

  • 24-hour delivery (where available) — additional fee +25 RON
  • For in-stock items only
  • Available in Bucharest and surrounding areas
  • Order by 14:00 for next-day delivery

X. Returns

  • Return window: 15 calendar days from receipt
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer (except for faulty or incorrectly delivered items)
  • Prepaid return label available on request (cost deducted from your refund)
  • In-showroom returns accepted at EYE SOCIETY AFI Cotroceni during opening hours
